Dance Arts Center Dress Code
Dance Arts Center is now selling dance shoes and attire! Please check with our staff to place your order.
For optimum performance, proper dancewear, shoes and hairstyle are necessary at all times. Students will not be permitted to attend class wearing street shoes or clothes. Due to the hazard it presents to students while dancing, no jewelry is allowed in class (except small earrings). Thank you for your cooperation.
Hair
Classical ballet dancers should have their hair secured in a ballet bun at all times. Bobby pins, hair bun covers, hair nets and scrunchies work well to create an attractive and secure ballet bun. Dancers of all other forms should have their hair away from the face in either a ballet bun or a secure pony tail. Male dancers for any class should have their hair neatly trimmed and groomed.
